July 2: What is the Fruit of the Spirit?
What we Learn: God gives us the fruit of the spirit to help us show others what His love looks like.
Memory Verse: “But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5: 22, 23

Memory Verse: “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in Him.”
1John 4:16b

What we Learn: Joy is a permanent condition of the heart and an attitude that comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus. We should express joy in the Lord at all times.

August 6th: Peace
What we Learn: We can replace worry with peace because God is on our side.
Memory Verse: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4: 6,7

What we Learn: We should be patient with others in the same way that God is patient with us.
Memory Verse: “Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming.” James 5:7a
September 3rd: Kindness
What we Learn: We should be kind to others at all times, by sympathizing with others, understanding others’ feelings, and putting others first instead of always thinking about our own personal needs.
Memory Verse: “Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15
October 1st: Goodness
What we Learn: We can grow in our goodness by staying close to God and remembering His goodness.
Memory Verse: “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do.”
1 Peter 1:15

What we Learn: Faithful people can be counted on to do what they say they will do, they don’t change their minds based on what other people may think. We can be faithful people by following what the Bible tells us to do.
